This tiny 19th Century jailhouse is now a historical museum that includes a jail cell built to incarcerate incorrigible workers during construction of the railroad through Chester in the 1840s. It also is a repository of historical maps, photographs, memoirs and other documents used by genealogists and local history researchers.
