Located just north of Windsor town center, the Eugene Moran Wilidlife Management Area is a hilly 1,462-acre former dairy farm now used for nature & wildlife conservation, hunting, fishing, recreation and tourism. It is home to 99 breeding bird species and other wildlife species, and offers views of Mount Greylock. Visitors can see diverse habitats including emergent freshwater marshes, spruce stands, shrub habitats with low-bush blueberry, and managed pheasant habitat. Hunting is allowed for the stocked pheasant.
