The Sunderland Main Street Historic District is an active agricultural setting that includes Georgian and Federal farmhouses; a former inn; and fields, farm land and agricultural outbuildings; and the immense Buttonball Tree. The district encompasses 180 properties along Main Street from Old Amherst Road to French’s Ferry Road.
